We have told him. Dennis Noyes and I have sat there and said to him, when he complained that Dorna introduced the 800s. "That was Honda's decision. They wanted it, and they got it." He merely said "that's not what I understand."

Basically, Dorna told the factories to come up with their own proposals by Valencia, or else he would do it for them. See my previous post for how that's likely to turn out.

An off-topic observation: For those who have been around here long enough, we can remember when our David (Krop) was just one of us, a guy who loved to read and write about racing here on ADV.

When I read the quote above, my immediate reaction was "Wow! How cool is it that one of us got to the point where he could even be there, much less write that sentence!"

David, sincerest congratulations; you have made it to the big time, and we could not be prouder!

And THAT is why ADVRider and David are so cool. I send my CAR-racing friends here so they can see how Forums and informed commentary should work. Then I see them at a next Track Day and they say "Dang, Nicky needs a scoot with a more stable front-end." I appreciate David's interviews with these courageous riders, they're funny, smart, and the riders clearly feel appreciated. Thanks Krop!!

I don't hang out here as much as I used to, but my heart is always with Advrider. You guys gave me the encouragement to get started, and I am eternally grateful for it.

You flatter yourself, sir.

As an accredited jackass, and a former soldier of 27 years, I can assure you that as an asshole, you have much to learn.

Sorry mate, you're a mere amateur.

He needs to visit CS&M. Everyone there is a bonafide, certified, accredited, USDA grade A asshole.
