The little/light Camper Trailer Thread...

While scouring the web, I found this little honey:







It's basically an old snowmobile trailer that somebody built on enclosure on. It looks like it would be a great setup to have a light duty, inexpensive toy hauler. I could set up beds, some small cabinets, etc. and haul the bikes inside. It's 8'x6'

a great trailer no doubt. One thing to consider however is out west in Bear country many of the national parks are or will soon be requiring a hard side camper. While we all know that a thin skinned camper is not stopping a teddy bear let alone a real bear that is the direction they are going.

Just something to consider...

Got a link for that? If true, that means you can't backpack or tent camp and I just find that pretty hard to believe.

While i understand the danger of bears ..And that the territory they are in is getting more stress from humans..
Sounds like another way to limit the public's use of of public lands..

but then again.. maybe i am wrong..

more like CSM material, but since I am posting ~from~ my trailer, I'll hazard a comment: When people sue the federal government for wrongful death and/or negligence when a man is killed by a billy-goat - you can ~EXPECT~ these" precautionary requirements". Fed gotta take steps to protect the idiots from nature (& themselves).

Oh yeah, and it's a 25' Forest River... not a piece of crap, but I don't much like it. 6,000# with a rear slide... NEVER get a rear slide.

Sure you can stop. Thanks for the links. None of those three links are national parks though and at least two of them said the restrictions would be temporary. I was under the impression from what you wrote that these would be permanent restrictions in our national parks. My apologies for the misunderstanding.
