Apart from a couple like the Guzzi V7 I've never seen so many revolting looking bikes: not a classic, restrained or soft line anywhere, the styling looks like confused Rorschach tests crossed with angry insects with a car radiator attached. The engines look like something you might see powering a hotel washing machine. Top it off with garish "Sea-Doo" style paint jobs and seats that for some inexplicable reason all point skyward, I wouldn't ride one if they actually offered the bikes to me for free never mind buying them. Dam.

Here, get some class:

What? You didn't like this or some of the older bikes people people have posted, like the Honda CB400, CB750, the Laverda, etc.?

I keep trying to think of of something to post here everytime I see this thread pop lately.

It's been difficult. I love my new bike.

But today I was playing around on a long deserted gravel/dirt road and then I realized

I need a WR250R.

I'm seriously looking at the XL1200V (HD Seventy Two). It's such a fun bike to ride.

All joking aside... how is it any different to ride than any other Harley?

I don't have a lot of experience on Harley's. I rode my mom's softail and an 883. I currently ride a GS, and rode a oldwing before that.

Sportsters seem to have a good following, and people love them. I think if I wouldn't have lost a lot of weight, I wouldn't even be considering it. I strongly suggest taking either the 48 or the 72 out for a test ride. I couldn't stop smiling and that's what riding is all about right?

My bike is the the total opposite of a 72, but I totally understand... it's all about the ride.

How about this new electric concept?

It looks like Apple's vision of how to update the old Dodge Tomahawk. i-bike?
