The 2012 Australasian Safari is done and dusted and was a huge success, all new course, new bivouacs, great racing and part of the Dakar Challenge programme which was won by South African Brett Cummings






In all there was a large international contingent racing Safari 2012 or part of the moto Adventure Tour

Given the successful introduction of the free shipping incentive introduced for the 2012 Safari and sponsored by Western Australian Tourism, the Safari organisation will continue it for 2013.

While not offically announced yet the planned dates for Safari 2013 are the 3rd week of September..............................so start your planning now, book your leave time from work and let the Safari organisation know you are in to reserve your spot for your bike, quad or SXS in the shipping container

I expect the food will be better than morocco, so can't you get the boys from Honda OZ/GHR to start putting some pressure on HRC for next year?

Can somehelp help with an idea of costing and bikes ???

Can i use a KTM 450 with a larger tank (what range do i need?)
Obvoisly i will need the roadbook, cap heading etc.

Pit support back up, what options are there out there.
How many tyres and mouses do i need ?

I will be on a tight budget coming from South africa and paying in rands.
Id like to put a budget together.
