In a word, yes. As the ADVrider rules state: Inmates may own no more than one motorcycle. Owning more than one motorcycle is a sign of MBD. (Multiple Bike Disorder) We here at ADVrider would like to help you with your illness. Duck is here to help you. Sort-a-like the government.

The cure is very hard. You now need to sell me your ST for 1$.

Hell, if you can swing it and the wife is still happy....

I have been offered a very clean 2010 FJR1300 w/ 10,530 mis. for $8,000. That sounds like a good price. I test rode it...1-up and 2. To make wife happy I need at least a Russell Day Long (ST has Rick Meyer). To make me happy ... it was fine...stock.

I got a super deal on my then new 2006 ST. If I add this FJR I still have less invested than in a Gold Wing. Am I crazy to consider owning two (2) such similar motorcycles... (My riding buddy's wife is saying "There is really something wrong with you..." )
Hell yeah, yer crazy! (If'n ya don't jump on that FJR!) If ya don't like the thang, you could turn 'round 'n sell it fer $10K anyway.
I have a smaller Cee Bailey fer the summer, (Keeps ya cooler) 'n a larger Cee Bailey fer da winter. (Keeps ya warmer)
'Nuther feller I know switched from the ST1300 to the FJR, and likes it mor. (Butt he only rides solo) May wife/sister likes ride'in pillion on the FJR. See'n as I'm a cheap bastard, I dun got her an Airhawk seat pad, 'n save me sum moneis over a Russel.

That's a GREAT price. Damn, I was hoping to get ~$7K out of my very clean '06 with 26K miles.

I was gonna suggest getting something mo different, but it seems you done did that.

Lucky you. No crusiers in your collection though. I just off loaded my FJR and picked a clean Kawasaki Nomad, and I am loving it.

I've come close to getting a Valkyrie Interstate a coupla times. I dunno, I just like flying acrobatically in airplanes (and helicopters but keep that quiet) and taking corners fast on motorcycles...and that can be problematic on some cruisers...

I sprung for a used Russel today and the owner threw in a factory windshield.

I also snagged a Nelson-Riggs SLR 10 tank bag off Motorcyclegear.com a couple weeks ago. With discount coupons I paid $44 for the bag.

After throwing the seat on the bike it is starting to look like an LD ride.

+1 on the seat, I love mine and just makes it that more enjoyable as LD Sport Tourer.

Thanks,
I was thinking about breathable air space with this pattern.

I also didn't want big seams because I had a Corbin and the seams went right under my thighs, after awhile they felt like ropes.

I love my Russell, THE best money I've ever spent on a motorcycle,.....besides fuel.

Thousands of pinholes for water to get through. I ordered mine with the half-moon stitching for precisely this reason. The least number of holes through the cover. Looks gooder to
