Thanks for the shout out, Potski! It's been an absolute blast touring on the TA - we'll keep doing what we can to get some good shots to post. But some of you inmates have definitely been putting the TA through its paces, and have the pictures to prove it. Thanks all for sharing.

Potski is this the stock windscreen that came with the '99 anniversary model and is that what you still have?
If so I'm assuming it works good and wondered if it will bolt on to the 1987 model?

I believe the fairing design was changed on 94-99 TA's and that the windscreen is shaped differently too.

Hi Crash48,

Here is a photo of my two Transalp's - 1999 Anniversary and 1988 bike. The screens are not interchangeable, but I find the older bike's screen although it doesn't look it, gives better wind protection.

When your bike was new you could have the small screen (which you have) or the larger one which I have on the photo, since then there are many different aftermarket screens about too. The guys on the "show us your best Transalp mods" are the guru's on stuff like this and would probably know what is available on your side of the pond.

Nice bike btw.
