someone definitely saw some good days on it. with that mileage they rode the hell out of it, especially when you consider the short riding season in new england. and last years winter was the only decent one to let you ride through it since '08. definitely not rigorous in the maintenance dept.

when i see adds that preface with rare, etc. it means they think they have a gold mine and it's priced accordingly. the average joe is going to want to buy a new bike, not a "rare" used bike. even if it had an excellent rating instead of very good kbb says it should be cheaper. no farkles either.

I think I will need one as mine is somehow broken underneath and now every time I sit on it it will make a crackling noise which I do not like. Is it in good condition? Is it the tall or ´low´ version?

Hey guys,
Has anyone pulled off the side faring plastic covers sucessfully to gain access to the headlight bulbs? I don't want to break any of the plastic parts while disassemlabling as the are very expensive.
Thanks for any tips in advance.

The main thing is to slide them forward about a quarter of an inch while flexing the back part out where the screws have been removed. That brings the hooks at the front level with the square holes they go into. Then you can gently pull them out sideways. There's more detail a fair bit earlier in this thread.
