The XR600R muffer is shorter and rated about 6-8db louder with a removable tip IIRC. So something must be different.

Actually when I do move, I'll probably move to Utah, Colorado, Idaho, or Wyoming. My girl and I don't much like California, and we are both mountain people. We both pretty much want to move to the same states. She has her horses and I have my dirt bikes. Luckily both require open spaces, no compromising.

Well sir once I leave Calisuckistan, I don't plan on ever coming back. The only reasons I'd come back would be to visit family, or if work or something ever demanded it. No matter where I move I'm sure I will love it more than here. I'm sure I'll even go riding with some of the local ADV'ers. Who knows, maybe make a trip out to visit you and ride.

The last time I was up there, I had to go around several windfalls coming back down.



The mountain trails are covered in snow; winter will be here very soon. However, I shouldn't complain. We had a very long, wonderful riding season this year.
