I have the quick detach sissy bar from hd. I was hesitant at first because it's a little pricey. Turned out to be well worth it, and about the cheapest luggage option out there. Just need a backpack and a bungee.

That was a more of a joke, I've been so against Harley until riding the 48. Turns out I really don't much care for the Harley culture, and not against the company.
I'm getting the tank painted because I hate the way the lettering is on the side. I want drab green with a pinup.

I don't care for the Harley culture, either, but I like the machines. I hate to tell people I have one, because of the instant "biker" stereotype that pops in their head. Oh well, enjoy yours...they are fun.

I use to feel the same way when I had a KLR because of the "homeless duct tape image" and when I had a BMW it was the "yuppy lime green helmet image", my Triumph had the "parts falling off image" now I could give a fuck less what image I have with the Harley as I just like riding it more than any other bike I have owned.

I've only owned old man bikes (goldwing/GS) so this is by far the most fun I've had on two wheels.

Last time I rode my Triumph, the headlight bucket fell off... Currently held on with zip ties.

For me it was foot pegs & mufflers, the Harley its header pipes (loud pipes means the exhaust nuts fell off again).

My 2010 XR1200. Has the upgrade suspension, Anvil exhaust, airbox mod with "dicky" hole, a PCV with autotune, Scotty mod, Blight shifter, H-D quick detachable windshield, H-D tail rack, homemade bungee bars, and Saddleman seat.

Last year at the East coast XROG meet up in Tennessee.

Packed up n ready to go. That Wolfman Beta bag is awesome.
