Bell Star carbon fibre helmet with Transition shield...never have to worry about getting caught out at night or rain or any adverse light conditions again. The helmet is light, comfortable, and moves a TON of air with all vents open. Comes with a pretty nice bag too (of course, we should expect that for an expensive bucket)

Alright, I know they are not tape recorders any more but I have carried a recorder in the outside pocket of my tank bag forever. I do a lot of writing and if I don't get a thought or the sketches to a story down on some retrievable method it might as well be written on the wind. I know from past experience I will forget part of it. The important part. Someone gives you directions to a great restaurant off the beaten path, record it's location. I get the idea for a new story or a revision of one I am writing, I have it on.... micro chip? Directions to a scenic view or free camping place, it's on tape. They are small and cheap.

I use the camera and note pad on my smart phone for alot of the same reasons.. I have photo file on the phone that has picture of all those thing i forget about .. like the size of the ac filter for the house... picture of the oil filter for my truck.. size of tires on the bike and cars... oh and my wife too..
