Interesting spot to put that roll bag.

Doent look like sprung weight vs un-sprung weight really makes a big difference on that bike.

It's on a trailer or in a truck, right?

Not that it makes it a lot better.

I'm not sure that truck should be passing on the right but you do what you gotta do.

It's okay, they didn't. They chopped a Rukus instead.

I met that dog at No Clever Name in Alabama this past weekend. Cool pooch!

The dog's people, Jack (Jack4245 on here) and Melenda, are nice folks, too.

They are life partners....I can tell because "they" are tandem on a Suzuki. Dead giveaway....

One is giving the # sign and the other is giving the ! sign......I may be wrong.

Okay, damn it... Anyone know the type of bike?

Grumble, grumble, mumble, grammar, grumble, Nazi.... grumble, grumble.

This is another case where a little research can be a big help.

http://lmgtfy.com/?q=define+sport

http://lmgtfy.com/?q=+sport+etymology&l=1

If you look up the etymology and many definitions of the word "sport" you'll find it is clearly not limited to "competitive activity".

It originally meant "to take pleasure, to amuse oneself," from Anglo-Fr. disport, O.Fr. desport "pastime, recreation, pleasure," from desporter "to divert, amuse, please, play" < < from online etymology dictionary

I'm pretty sure you realize the meaning of words and phrases can change over time.

Decimate used to mean reduce by 1/10, now it is used to mean obliterate.
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Decimation_(Roman_army)

"Begging (or Begs) the question" is strictly defined as a specific kind of logical fallacy: (Latin petitio principii, "assuming the initial point") http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Begging_the_question
Modern usage has morphed the most common meaning into "raises the question".
It still bugs me a bit when someone says "begs the question" the "wrong" way - but then I remind myself that is probably because I am being a geek.
