I read somewhere that he was quoted as saying he was looking for a slider. But still, two strikes and two outs... You have to at least stick the bat out and make it look like you are trying to swing.

A hitter always has to protect with two strikes. It's elemental.

The Baseball HOF ballots are out and they will be creating some controversy.
