Got a few photos on a recent day ride that turned out good:
![]() Ninja Shadow Perspective - Front ![]() Ninja Shadow Perspective ![]() Ninja Shadow Perspective - Closeup ![]() Forestry Motorcycle Contemplation Bunch more on one of my Flickr sets, if anyone is interested in looking. I'm really digging the Angel ST tires and the 190/55 profile vice the 190/50s. I've gotten the Angel's from edge to edge without any fanfare, though I don't track or push the N1K that hard on the street. About the only thing I have left to really do is fab up some mounting points for the Givi sidecase racks to attach to the Muzzi fender eliminator. |

Thanks guys for the birthday wishes. The road is called Firetower Road in central Alabama. It's a nice curvy narrow countryside road with hairpins . I can send you the full high resolution pics if you shoot me your email.

Mini Air Compressor that fits on the N1K
On my other bikes I've carried a mini air compressor for road side flat repair but they were all too large to fit anywhere on the N1K. I just happened to be in Lowes today farting around and ran across this little unit the works out perfect. I think it was about $14.
Slime Tire Top Off Air Compressor - Slime Part #40020 ![]() Since I carry a toolkit under the rear seat I had to look somewhere else to store it and found that it fits dang near perfect under the front seat in the empty space behind the battery. ![]() ![]() I cut the power cord to the compressor to length so it reaches from the Powerlet socket I installed on the passenger rearset to the front wheel with about 6" extra slack. I removed the cigar plug and connected a Powerlet plug in it's place. Next I needed to figure out a way to hold the compressor down so it wouldn't be flopping around under the seat. I used a Dremel tool and 1/8" drill bit to make a small hole in the lip of the battery tray and ran a Zip-tie through the hole. ![]() I used a velcro strap as the hold down. I fastened the plastic "buckle" of the velcro strap to the battery tray with the zip-tie in the above pic. ![]() Then I used 2 zip-ties in the hole between the seat bolt holes to make a loop to run the loose end of the velcro strap through. ![]() I put a shop rag under the compressor and one on top of it to keep it cushioned and so the strap would hold it a little tighter in place. Plus, I figure if I am dealing with flat repair beside the road, I'll need a rag to wipe my hands / things off anyway so it worked out nice. I bundled the power cable up and stuck the Powerlet plug down beside the battery. ![]() I have a 6mm hex wrench in the toolkit to remove the seat if needed to get to the compressor. The toolkit also contains a tire plug kit. ![]() ...

It is the fastest bike I have owned, would leave my 2008 Honda CBR600RR for dead, and that is a powerful 600. My Griso 8V is a powerful bike, but the by the time it is up to speed, the N1K is in the next zip code. I also know it will leave a Speed Triple as well. But the best thing is how it has plenty of power from idle and doesn't let up til the redline.
