congrats on the bike!

That end screen will eventually fall out. After my first one fell out I was truly concerned about this and ordered a replacement. Then.....that one fell out too...... great.

That was over a thousand miles ago, no problems at all.

I would recommend that you wash out your tank though. Being that this is a Fuel Injected system, and the Fuel Filters are small, I would take the extra time to clean it out.

Before I ran mine, I washed out the stock tank with Goof-off three times
I then washed out the tank again, with gas three times.

I've NEVER had an issue with any clogged injectors or Fuel Filters....

Thanks for the info, will do. I also plan to replace the suspect fuel lines and add the Golan filter.

I've gone thru 2 lines in 2.8 hours so far and have switched over to FI hose with corresponding FI clamps with gentle curves so as not to kink the hose. Working good so far until KTM can get their act together and then I'll switch back and carry a spare in my bag.
Also there was a discussion earlier, or maybe on another thread about balancing wheels, or lack thereof, with the Motion Pro rimlocks or no rimlocks at all. I've balanced my wheels using regular wheel weights and aluminum ducting tape to cover them up and nobody even sees it unless I point it out to them. REALLY smooth now.

If you look closely you can see where the black rim striping is covered with the aluminum ducting tape just opposite the rimlocks.

I just checked this last week for my VIN and no recalls noted, checked again today and it is listed as a recall for my bike. Anyone know what all pieces are included in the recall or had it done yet? Last I checked also the pre bent fuel lines are on national backorder.

I'll be there in my Sprinter with the 500 strapped on the back.
AntiPaul will be there in his black Toyota hilander towing two bikes.

I think we're camping in the campground near the Shell Station in town.

I'll PM you my cel number.
