1200 RT No Power

Recently picked up a 2005 1200RT that has been sitting for the past year+. Ran fine, but the batter was weak, so I put a new battery in it. Was performing fine. Parked it for a week and jumped on it yesterday to ride to work. Turned on the key, all the instruments came on, everything appeared normal. Hit the starter...nothing. No click, no attempt at a turnover, nothing. Had to go to work, so I checked the battery the next day...full charge. Now, even the instruments panel will not come on. Nothing. Any suggestions on where to look first? Thanks.

I would check the battery terminals/connections first. If you have a voltmeter you can then start testing the voltage and work your way towards the starter and fuse panel.
