New and improved KTM690 WUNDERFEST

I had my bike on the bench with new TKC 80 on the rear. Just for fun basically.
Mods: Only acra + insert.

Background is that I ran out of gas a few days before and had a filthy injector that made the bike jerky.

I had the same trouble on my '11. I caught it a little earlier than yours. Toward the end my bearing had 3-4mm play!

I'd doubt there is any damage down below - it doesn't look like your bearing fell apart. I'd dump the oil & inspect for metallic bits. I'd then flush it a few times & ride it.

No prob. If you do order something make sure they ship DHL (they handle the German Postal service for parcels), this will cost a fraction of the other options and should get delivered by USPS in the States so there won't be any brokerage fees or other BS charges.

While it's tempting, think I'm just gonna stick with the stock bore. Just picked up a Gixxer 600 for my go fast demons.

the PO did an interesting job, so i don't have much to do right now beside riding it... which isn't necessarly bad!

Got the opportunity and sadly traded in my 950 for this 690... and i'm already missing it

Kept the 990, thought about turning it into an S, got the parts but just can't get used to this 990 EFI sh#t... maybe i'll trade it for another 950...

Funny you mention i'm going quickly through bikes, this morning i saw my old farkled up DR650 racing a local baja event... it didn't bring a tear to my eyes. LOL

About the fairing, the side panels are based on the big Adv ones, the nav column and lighting is a Rally Raid product, and the front fairing is from Touratech.

It's an interesting ride, sure is alot lighter than the big twin, and that front wheel just keeps going up.

Nice - I just ordered mine yesterday. Carbon/gripster/orange thread combo. Hope it's the same seat height as stock and the narrow section is far enough back to get my legs down.
