If you want to keep the rear mud-flap (black) in good shape, I would suggest you remove it. The trials tire is taller than most dirt-bike tires, and will eat through the black flap just behind the rear shock... don't ask how I came to know this wonderful information.....

I wouldn't want the rear tire throwing stones at my shock, one little chip on the shaft and you've got a lot more expensive problem on your hands than a $10 mud flap....

Why not just move the wheel all the way back in the swingarm with the right combination of gearing and chain length?

I changed gearing to a 14/48 setup.
With the stock chain, and setting up the proper chain slack, this flap still got chewed up.
great point though about protecting the shock

I better get another flap on order...

Are fuel line hoses with the lot number 13W12 considered good or subject to the recall?

That thread over on Thuper talk suggest that 13w12 was a bad lot and that ,12w12 was OK try reading it from the beginning see the link I posted earlier, but not sure if its true

I just put a 48t rear sprocket on with 14t front and the stock chain, this is just about at the end of adjustmentat the rear of the swingarm so if that is the case im worried about the new MT43 i have sitting there!
What are people using on the front tyre?

I can tell you that the Trials tire style front tire version is not very good.

I had it on for a while, didn't like it at all....lots of wobble and wandering

Did the one hour service and took the bike out for the first time in the woods. What a beast! This thing has a ton of power and puts it to the ground amazingly. The cinder block that KTM put on there for a seat is my only complaint, and I am going to be feeling that for a couple of days. Thank god the Seat Concepts is on order already. By the way any of you guys out there camping with Paul see if you can get him drunk enough to offer up a huge discount on the website as I am going to be needing to make a large purchase from him this week!

I like the mt 43 front because it is smooth and doesnt deflect in the rocks

What brand keyed switch is that. Someone mentioned the Sicass keyed switch is too big.
