OJ I lived in CA when the CHP got their first BMW's like yours to replace the Kawasakis they rode for eternity. I remember the first time I saw one, I was oh man that guy has an awesome job. I commuted on my bike back then, before I lost my nuts. I don't remember the numbers but I remember the initial deal was sweet for the CHP. They got them cheap and BMW would buy them back after some amount of miles/time. Great field testing and advertising for BMW.

Addison PD over in TX had the K1200's briefly, then went to ST 1300's. I was told the maintenance on them was too costly hence the switch to the Hondas.

Hmmmm..let me see if I can work that out..plan was that me and the Mrs was gonna take off together to go vote while coy stayed here with my aunt..I may send those two out to vote and when they get back, I will take off and vote and maybe hook up with you..will get back to ya later today on that..

Have to go over to Rogers this afternoon to pick up an exhaust for the Baby Gixxer, figured I'd get a late lunch there. Anybody tried the Havana Tropical Grill? Been hankerin for a Cuban sammich.
