You need more than an Optician.

Yes, I rode one. Not my type of bike but it is a very good bike and certainly looks better than Ducati's last attempt at a feet forward bike.

This thread has actually served a purpose. I'm visiting D.C. and there was one of them parked in the Target parking garage at Columbia Heights. Because of this thread I know exactly what it was from a distance, I felt so smart.
Don't sell yourself short- I'm sure you'd have known it was ugly without any outside help.

I didn't say what it was notable for.

I have a friend with an MS1100. He loves that bike, it's hardly every in his garage. (Mostly because it's usually at the dealership waiting for parts...)

regardless, i think the early multistrada's are the most beautiful motorcycle ever manufactured - when compared to the new diavel. the diavel easily takes the prize as the most hideous ugly duc ever, imo.

I won't quote the pic because I don't want to look at it again but that Indiana is uglier than a V Strom.

We can turn it back into a car tyre thread if you want

And my 2c ... the Diavel is way worse. The Indiana just looks like a generic cruiser really.... if you hadn't told me it was a Ducati, I wouldn't have known. The Diavel on the other hand

no, but i seriously think it is least worst looking. serious gag reflex stifling needed in either case.

besides, you're cheating; the pic you posted has nice accoutrements!

They're both ugly bikes. I'm sure the Diavel is a hoot to ride, but that doesn't make it pleasing to the eye.

Beauty is in the eye of the beholder, however, so enjoy the looks of the Diavel if it rubs your happy bone.

They had a thread in one the bike forums here, about ugly bikes, and the 990 adv got it's fair share of vote's. I ride one and have to admit it's been hit few times with the ugly stick. Diavel looks ok to me, haven't ridden one though.
Sorry, back to the Dragon.
