Our dates have not coincided for the last couple of years, but looks like a Sunday morning departure ride to Blue Grass to pig out will be in the works this year. .
Sorry I'm gonna miss that event and those lovely bowls of gravy

That ride was the one that convinced me to seriously consider heated gear and revamp my camping equipment...

My polling place was a piece of cake in/out in 10 minutes....

Mike, we'll miss you.

I fix sausage and buckwheats here all the time, but it just ain't the same. Something about having those guys wandering around with those plates of fresh 'cakes waiting to watch you try and cram them down your throat. And the syrup is to die for. Never have mastered the gravy they bring in.

I am soooo looking forward to this. Been too long and glad they set it at a date that was convenient for us.

Shoot. I may fix buckwheats tonight to prepare myself.

Stay focused during the wait. Don't forget who you're voting for.

Just hope my daughter can get to the polls in time since she had to be at school today.

She stayed here last night since her address is still ours and the precient where she needs to vote is just around the corner. When she got there early, the line was approx. 3 hours long and she had to leave to get to class. Hopefully, she'll get out of there early enough to make the 7:00 cut-off.

Even tho' I know her candidate was different than mine, she still needs to exercise her right to cast a ballot for her choice.

No lines for me!

Went by this morning to get my flu shot and barely broke stride during the whole process. Got home after work and one too many last minute meetings and picked up Mrs. Downer and headed to Cosby High School to vote. Walked up showed my new voter card got my ballot and was back home in 15 minutes. I am not sure how many vote there but around 5 PM the counter on the machine was over 2800. If memory serves last election about the same time it was 600.

I was able to remember for the hour or so I had to wait. I voted for myself. I wasn't willing to wait long enough to vote again for Jeff.
