That's a good picture. I love how there is so much stuff you don't even need to strap it down.

I was being tailgated by three 650s the whole way!

Much care went into packing on the trip out. For the return trip, not so much.

125cc adventures?

I'm currently riding a little Honda CBF 125 whilst training for my full bike licence. Can't wait to do a few rides around the Highlands of Scotland on a big bike, but in the meantime, I'm gonna have few rides out on my 125! Yes I know it'll be slow but I have been inspired by other threads on this forum such as "around Scotland at 45mph"

So here she is before

and after a trial loading

I bought the panniers and tank bag very cheaply second hand and they fit a treat. Only had a couple of short rides so far to see how things feel, but there were no problems so I hope to be undertaking a few longer trips soon....

OK, test ride successful. I'm prepped and ready to take off next Monday (Labor Day) to ride Madison, Wisconsin to Ashland, Oregon. Camping gear, mountain bike, riding gear, and everything else I need for a week on the road and two weeks in OR for a bicycle frame building class. All fits on the bike and is surprisingly easy to handle. If anyone wants to follow my exploits you can find them here:

Not my bike...a friends! When he took it off the center stand it wanted to fall over on the kickstand! He had to repack/ leave a few things! We tease him to this day about it.

Would you mind asking your friend the brand/model of the bags as well as the type of cords he used to attach on top of the panniers. I like the set-up.
Thinking of the North Face Camp or Patagonia Black hole, but those look the better.
Thanks
