Diesel engines are not big Carbon Monoxide producers. However Carbon Dioxide is another story. It will displace the Oxygen. Get a detector for CO2 or leave a window cracked.

You do know that there is a major winter storm rollin' our way set to arrive Friday night, right? Temps are going to change drastically, and wind, and snow, and...........it will be good exercise for the new heater!

Moab still looks pretty good (if it stays dry.. no worries) but darn.. if Vail pass is closed.. I might be forced to ~~ride~~ wait another day or two in the desert before I return

You guys think I suck?

I just ran into this guy 20 minutes ago. I tried to take consolation in the fact that my 950 is nicer than his v-strom and my 500 is nicer than his XR... but then it occurred to me that the taxes he paid on a $300K vehicle was more than what all five of our bikes put together cost

Fair enough! Its cool that the heater uses the fuel that the vehicle already uses. Filling the propane tank is a bit of a pain, however we have only done it as a preventative measure thus far, havent actually run out of propane on a trip yet
