I agree,not everybody wants a 6 cylinder behemoth,no matter how absolutely high tech and neat is,I ride an antique Triumph 1200 Trophy,I like it though,doesnt weigh 600 lbs,has nothing digital except maybe the ignition. I honestly dont need to go any faster then it will go. Call me a Luddite but simpler can be just fine.
BMW would not agree. Simple bikes are way in their past.

I wouldn't mind something as plain and "simple" as a k1300r.

Maybe that's the point of the k1300s - to remind us we don't get the r in the states.

test ride

I test rode on a few months ago, solo and with the wife. Never got into 5th gear and it stilled pulled like a train. Amazing bike.
