Sena SMH10 & voice to text

Does it work? If so, how do I set it up? I'm using a Samsung Galaxy S3.

I have the Sena and the SIII.

Does it work, yes.
How do you set it up? Just pair the phone with the Sena.

It doesn't work well because of background noise. The Samsung S Voice does a better job then the normal Google voice to text, but it still lacks real reliability.

With the level of background noise, it is worthless to me.

It doesn't work well because of background noise. I have also seen a few times where it appears to be totally ignoring the microphone.

I don't doubt that its not going to work well, but I'd like to try it. My phone is paired and working as well as my iPhone ever did. I guess I don't know what buttons to push on the sena and when

PS great phone, that S3 huh

I just paired it and just press the small rear phone button on the Sena and S Voice runs.

alright. I see what you mean. I'm in the garage playing with it. I told it to text lynn (my wife). It started playing a Beastie Boys song

It knew you were in trouble for something and worked out that not texting was the better option. Clever!!

Can you briefly explain how you are doing this? I'm not having much luck with mine. Thanks

Can you be more specific?

Is Siri not talking back to you? Are you going over 50mph with an open faced helmet? etc..

I'm riding under 50 with a full faced, closed helmet. Im not getting a response from Siri in any capacity, music, calls, or anything.

Actually found my own answer...I had the volume down on the Siri portion and was unable to hear the right "beeps"...reading the instructions sometimes actually work(don't tell the girl)
