That money buys a nice used C5 Vette convertible. Still out in the wind but faster, better handling, better gas mileage, has a top for everyone when it rains, can fit into a standard parking space, is serviceable by any dealer,........
To each his own I guess. I shouldn't throw stones. My good friend's first email to me when I told him I bought a Ural was him asking if I'd hit my head on something very hard.

Just for grins, I measured my DMC M72D + GS + Micatech-equiped rig: 6' 2". An M72DX would be 6' 6"
Puts the 6'8" measurement into perspective - an extra 2" to 6" not such a big deal on a rig. Different kettle if we were talking about hip measurements. /

I really don't think the width is that big of a deal. I think the amorphous blob that is half trike and half hack is the problem here.

Maybe its not even a problem,it's more like meeting someone whose had a sex change operation, you wonder how they came to that decision. When riding my single I have ended up in rest area's with folks driving V/8 trikes or boss hosses, I always pretended not to notice them, I don't think I have enough in common to go for the small talk.DB
