another thing to consider...

Tube type tires lose air immediately and have a more 'catastrophic' failure mode at any speed.

Tubeless tires, when punctured - lose air much more slowly and give you a good deal more warning and time to recover before the tire is completely flat.
You typically feel them being wiggly and weird feeling and have time to pull over.

There is a reason that aircraft tires are not allowed to be repaired, dork. They are not much different than MC tires and when damaged they fail at speed.

Face Plant has many accounts of what happens when a front or rear tire suddenly deflates due to a tire failure. It doesn't happen often, but when it does it is dramatic and the outcome can be bad for the rider.

Getting an unexpected flat or accident/incident is much different than knowingly operating with a known defect (kinda like you Meterpig).

It must really bother you having the inability to shut down this forum or ban individuals who you do not agree with.

Sadly prophetic.

The bikes used in the new Bond movie are the CRF250 (the bikes on Camera) and CRF450's.

I was hoping for the DR650, but they wanted "high performance bikes".

No, I never banned him or anyone else when RockiesRiders.com was running. I pulled the plug on that forum experiment as it was DEAD IN THE WATER.

It has been closed for some time & will not be opened again regardless of the whining.

Riding by Canon city yesterday, I saw the first "Buick-slashie" sign. I really need to get some of these.

Lewis Creek was awesome, but it was a Winter F'n Wonderland on top.

If you're gonig to ride in snow, riding in few inches that is only hours old with dirt below is pretty sweet.
