I will rarely fire at a scout with my E-75 now that I have the big gun. It takes over 15 sceonds to reload so I have to take my shots carfully. If they get past the front line I will try for them but I'm only getting one shot at them. I'm not a good scout driver, I die fast. but the bob and we've works as long as you are unpredictible. Criss cross to much and they will get you in the middle every time. If I'm down in the PZIVS or the 3601 Ill fire at you if I see you. But the E-75 I tend to fire gold rounds at the price of 4k silver. Why? It fires so slow I want everything it can give me with each shot. LoL

Churchill used to be a good money maker. Seems like they've killed the beneficial match making with it and dumbed down the profits

Tier 8 Tiger II / King Tiger
Went into a training room with two Tiger II's for both of us to get a better feel for them. He had the shorter 10.5 barrel, and I had the longer 8.8 barrel (so neither of us were fully upgraded). At 150 yards the results were hugely disappointing considering that neither of us had the gun that most tier 8's will be using (that has 225 penetration). No matter how we angled, all but the most ineptly placed shots penned the lower and upper glacis, as well as the turrets. Shots too close to edges didn't pen, but otherwise... in three training room sessions we came away with no real angle, from 5% to about 40%, that helped on the fronts. Unless there is something special in the penetration area with the KT's lower tier guns, I'm not yet seeing the reason to run it vs. a Panther II on the battlefield except to have the option of eventually bringing a much bigger gun. ---- Tier 5 M7 MT The American M7 tank: I always wanted to like this tank, and it does have some lovable qualities... but I still feel that something is off with its balance. My guess is that the gun is too weak. But I bought it again yesterday for the x5 event since this seems to be the tank that the new American line in the upcoming 8.2 patch will take off from. My initial guess is to work up about 25,000 XP with it to have it close, or ready to go, to research the new tier 6 when it comes out. ...... Tier 4 A13 Covenanter tier 4 British Light Tank Only after having researched all three "upgrade" guns on it, and trying them all, did I realize that the stock gun is best. I don't need a two-shot / two-load auto-loader where the second shot always misses unless I'm right up against a target, and I certainly don't need to "upgrade" to 63 pen from 78 original pen, more accuracy, and less gold rounds wasted (gold rounds for x5 victories are a staple in my tanks' diets). The HE "upgrade" gun is crazy, too - it's as if the round, when fired, enters a different dimension, then comes out at the other end a few days later. I played one game with it, and was shocked at how much slower the HE round traveled than even other tanks' HE rounds. After a few missed shots where I greatly underestimated the round's travel time, I took a shot at a damaged PzIV off on the distance, but then gave up on and moved away... only to hear I killed it like... a day later? My buddy had the same bad experience in that he took a distance shot at an enemy, but by the time the round got there sometime the next day the battle had changed enough that he killed a teammate instead. ![]() I don't really like the Covenanter, but I'm choosing this more forgiving tier to hold on to the tank, and elite it (soon), to train the crew up to 100% and get them some perks before moving on to the much more competitive tier 5 class. After looking at real world pictures of a tiger 2 I understand why the sloped armor doesn't work. the game shows a lot more slope then it truly has. it fools you into thinking it's not flat. and it's really almost is. There are only a few maps where the the tank truly works but oh when it does. Do y'all have the second turret yet? Also it's real power is the big gun. if you cant stop them before they are 150m then it's armor doesn't do much, at that range almost anyone can aim for the soft spots. And it had a lot of them. i know you played the old PZIV treat the Tiger 2 just like the PZIV. I've seen this in the MONTHS i've played the tiger 2 there's two types of people running it. the ones that love it and the ones that hate it. the ones that love it have figured out where to go on maps to hide it's soft spots and how to run it behind the tougher armored tanks. the ones that hate it try to treat it like a heavy tank that can take a beating and put it out in front. This is where people learn to hate it. Any tier 6 can destroy it close range. Heck a tier 5 can given enough time. here's what to look for in games. if you see one with camo on it watch that person play it. i've seen that those of us who really like it spend gold to make it better. the more you can hide it the better it is. i guess think of it like a TD maybe.
Manbo your knowledge of tanks and how to play them is a great thing and I hate that this tank has evaded you. Catch me on the game and I'll see if I can show you a few tricks. if we are in a training room we may need more then just us so we can get the distance fare enough apart for everything to work right.

If I understood him correctly, my buddy did have the second turret, and that's where more of the disappointment lies. But I will hold back with it from now on, and I will hit ya up for a training in the next few nights. Can't right now though, and it would be silly to fully judge the tank until I get the upgraded gun and turret. I guess I was venting more about the surprises of the hull than I should have, lol. |

yeah the hull sucks. the second turret is the first turret for the E-75 so guess how bad it sucked starting off, but the big gun on the tiger 2 is one of the big guns for the E-75. So once you get it maxed out it's a good tank, just has to be used as a sniper some what.

I run it with the 6 pounder(same gun as the premium churchill). It has great pen and rate of fire, but dmg is low so you can't really slug it out with anyone. Don't worry about the armor, just pretend you don't have any which is pretty close to the truth. I have the gun laying drive, rammer and vent class on it. I also run the 100 octane gas. I've found it works great if you team up with a Churchill. The 2 of them can pound someone to death pretty quickly. The church can provide some cover for the M7 and the M7 can maneuver quickly to protect the Church as needed. It also makes a decent scout in a pinch. I snipe and harass quite a bit with it. You can keep most tanks tracked forever of needed by dropping every other shot into the track. Thanks for the heads up on the possible split. I'll turn off accelerated crew training for a while just in case |

I dunno what yer talkin about. they've wiped out my arty plenty of times ![]() I'm digging my M18 Hellcat but it seems every time I get a new tank it takes me a few (at least) battles on each map to figure out what not to do. Problem with the Hellcat is its too easy to get too far out front. I do love TD's with turrets though

I had 4 rounds left in the hellcat. last man standing after taking down 4 tanks and smacking the hell out of 5 more
![]() The whole TD thing of hiding is great, but often times I get unhid and don't realize it. Same with my arty. how do you know when someone is close enough to detect ya without the 6th sense thing?
