Don't mind at all, btw.

With this many guys showing up, I'm not gonna try to keep the group together tight. Since the main corridor is hard to get lost on, we'll just all go at our own pace heading south and I'll stop at the big parking lot trailhead just north of Nelsonville and collect everyone up. Then head into Nelsonville and chow down, head up to the other loop after that...ride around in there for a while and head back up to the parking lot in NS again. That way no problem if anyone breaks off or gets lost. You have to go north up the main corridor to get to the parking lot again, or if you didn't trailer you can just ride out any of the county roads.

Can you tell me - do I need a Wayne Sticker in addition to my normal street tag?

If so, is there a place along 33 to buy one without going into Nelsonville?
Buy one at Begley's Campground I suppose.

I'd be on the WRR with a new rear tire but I'm sure everyone else will be on a real dirt bikes.
I`ve done it about 8 times. Normaly I would say don`t make this your first but due to the nice weather you will do fine. DO NOT stray off the trail !!! There is bailing wire all over the place and you WILL find it. If you make a real try at any creek crossing and don`t make it,people are very good about helping you.Don`t worry about keeping time on this one...just ride and have fun and learn......GO FOR IT.......GOOD LUCK !!! I don`t think they run the "mud bougs" anymore but if they do,speed is your friend and always head for where the people are standing...that`s where the solid ground is.

Unless it has changed since last year, you need either street plates or an off-road sticker, not both so you should be golden.

I've liked what I've seen so far of that Husaberg. I'm guessing it has a lower COG with that configuration.

The ad says it has 144 hours on it. I ask them to give me a quote online so I'm sure I'll be getting a call next week from them. ;)
COG may be slightly higher than on a traditional 450. Their goal was to bring the center of rotating mass closer to the COG to make a 4 stroke handle more like a two stroke. It worked to a certain extent and I like the bikes. The FE390 is my favorite of the bunch. The bikes are pretty wide between your calves - felt a little funny to me in that respect, but it wouldn't stop me from riding one.

I know that is true for state forests in Ohio with regards to PA, OH & MI plates (maybe others as well), but I thought you needed a separate sticker or tag for the national forests, each forest having its own pass. I haven't ridden Wayne, but I've had to pay a user fee to ride trails in other national forests.

"If your dual sport motorcycle is properly registered and licensed with the BMV to be "street legal", you do not have to register again (i.e. get an APV plate) to be legal off-road."

Oh man, don't anyone go thinking my list is official! I just threw it together quickly since someone asked. All are welcome.

But yeah Solace, we can ride up together. I can meet you at UDF at 8 if you want.

Well, I'm off the list. Got friends coming to shoot things that won't run away.

Hey Luke, you ever heard of Dayton Dirt Riders Club? It's south of Dayton in Moraine. They have 40 acres and I think they just charge a yearly membership fee for riding there. I emailed them but was wondering if you or anyone else that lives close to us have heard about them.

I've riden it. Smiling John used to be the club president so he, myself, Pigtails and Crazy J rode it several times. It's small but is challenging with deep ravines, lots of roots and some real tight stuff. I prefer Hidden Springs even if it is muddier and has more ruts in the trails. I can find out who to caontact from John if you wanna join or visit sometime to check it out.

Cool, thanks! That would be great. We need to go riding at Hidden Springs again sometime soon too before it gets muddy as hell again! ;)

Oh, btw I have no clue who those people are you mentioned.
