Hey Pete, I've been researching side racks and saddle bags. I like the wolfman set up from adventure Moto, have you heard of anyone using theTeton bags. Made out or HD plastic. Anyone else.?

Haven't had any contact with the Teton bags but Wolfman seems to be good gear. $580 for racks and bags is good value. Ya can't go wrong.
Everyone I know with Wolfman gear is pleased with it.
Adv moto is good to deal with, Steve will ring if there's a delay or anything, I get my tyres off him.

My panniers are Steel Ponies from Perth, Unavailable at the moment.

Not good, inmate Senfiddy has also come a cropper and had to finish his ride in the back of an ambulance yesterday unfortunately, I wasn't there but spoke with him on the phone afterwards as we were planning to go out today, he is battered and bruised and was knocked out cold but thankfully is OK considering and already planning his next ride,
Hopefully he will be along soon to give us all an ambulance ride report.

Hate to think, better check my insurance cover though cos I'm pretty sure my ambulance ride is coming up soon too, you know due to the law of averages and all , did have a mate who's father was helicoptered out of the Vic high country once due to a heart attack, lucky for him he had insurance cover for that type of event as the bill was astronomical . , was equivalent to the annual budget of a small African nation apparently .

Lot depends on circumstances. When I came undone in the Flinders there were no doctors at Leigh Creek or Hawker so all ambo and RFDS to RAH were free.

I have full Ambo cover. A hangover from racing days, it was mandatory on all tracks & I've kept it up.
I think it's only a hundred bucks a year.

I've been using the Enduristan Monsoon soft panniers for a few trips now and lovem.

No buckles exposed on the outer surface to break during an off, water proof, nice open neck to get access to your contents, built in dividers(removable), and an excellent mount system that allows them to lift away from the bike during an off. The inner waterproof liner can be inverted for cleaning.

Sorry to hear that Kym.....that goes for Senfiddy as well.....I guess that makes three of us all bruised up.
Managed to change over the front & rear tyres this morning & replaced the handle bars.
Only thing was everytime I looked up, on came the dizzy spells....concussion I reckon....that's what the quack would say anyway.
