What electrical issues do you have?

Yeah, I should have posted the location, it took a bit of googling for me to figure out. I never make it to Gastonia.
It looks like its the beginning of a CDI going bad. Like a moron I don't have a spare though it is a known thing to happen on these bikes. I just placed an order for 2 (replacement and spare). I'll see if its acting up tomorrow so i can sneak out to get a pic up here.

If it is anything like the one I had in my XR650L, try heating it up with a hair dryer. The cold makes a bad connection worse.
The XRL CDI wasn't cheap either. Hey there is a guy over in the XRL thread (in Thumpers) that repairs the XRL CDI. He might be able to repair yours for way less than a new one.

Good luck with it though.

Thanks, I'll look him up to see if the bad one can be made into another good spare.

It's a little on the chilly side this morning but wanted to get this up in case people want to take advantage of 70 and sunny later today.
Unlike its more famous sibling in the same city, this tri-oval track is actually named after the city it's in instead of the large city next door.

Grab a tag and get a trip to Bass Pro Shop. That's tempting.

Who am I kidding? I've got a honey-do list to catch up on.

If I didn't have plans with my son or this damn cold. That would be a nice ride for me@ 120 miles through Uwharrie.

I'm sure I would have been bruced since I dont post from the road.

Just tell Mrs Donkeys that she can go shopping for the day. Though I doubt you would beat someone coming from Huntersville.

No chance of me getting it. MrsDonkeys reminded me that number one hack monkey has training today at 1400.

Sent from the voices in my head and transcribed by their drinking buddy.

Nice! Now see if you can continue the streak of tag shots within a mile of my house and I will be able to keep playing without waiting for parts to come in the mail.

Hey thats cool. Carter and I got to tour Stuart/Haas racing a while back. Bought a LU5 Crossfire injected small block off craigslist and it ended up being the car chief for Danika Patrick. Picked it up at their shop one evening and was given a cool look around to most of it anyway. Wasn't allowed is a few places for reasons I'm sure you know.

I am surprised it is still sitting.

I have TAGGED my work before also but it isn't as cool as a race shop.

Got off work and came home, ate with the kids and then went to see Skyfall at the movies. Late lunch and took some cold meds and went to bed. Slept most of the afternoon and evening. Going back to bed in a few. I have another 24hr shift starting at 7:45am.

Happy Veterans Day to all that have served.

Now this takes it up north to Mooresville, which is some good riding. Tempting indeed...
