New player in the coffee field around here...Tribal Java from Vernon and is it ever good coffee. I shouldn't say new player, that's Voets rebranding somehow and going into the organic field.But sure better than the old Voets.

Cheaper than the other twos from the store so far and yes the Bakery in Nakusp serves it. Under new management the bakery, real "Tourtiere" and Ancient Ritual Deep Dark Organic Tribal Java Coffee. Filled me up on a wet day today!

Not too bad the McD's coffee. Feel better parking my BMW there than at Starbucks mind you I have never done that last. Pontiac may go to Starbucks for convenience sometimes but sure not the BMW.

I must learn to slow down through Nakusp, en route to Kaslo. We camp out at Davis Creek every summer and hang around Kaslo. I tend to associate a stop in Nakusp with a missed ferry or a snowstorm.

Slow down....plenty of sailings in the summer. "What's brewing on Broadway"....also a good place for a cup of Kick Ass with the locals.

If you really are in a hurry well....the bakery does have a drive thru. Tell Marise I may have sent you. Almost across from The Hut.

It takes me a couple of days to get slowed from 'Alberta' time to 'Kootenay' time. I will check things out next weekend, if we go that way in the cage.

Copper Eagle in Greenwood BC. Right on the highway. Really cool old espresso machine, hand pulled shots. Neat little town. The Deadwood cafe on the other side of the street is almost as good.

This is turning into a very tasty thread. I now have new (to me) destinations along highway 3 in southern BC, a rode I travel more often each year. Perhaps a tea thread is in order, so I can convince my wife that she can come along, too.
