Geek, I've known for a long time that you suck... nice to see you're really upped your Level of suckage.
To put an emphasis on your suckage I'm going to post this pic of my thumb from a couple months ago... I'll let you decide to embiggen that photo.... Fun with tablesaws when your push-stick slips. But then again,it's not all bad down here in GA (now that I can finally stand to be outdoors).... Doesn't change your suckage factor though. ![]() Sincerely, your Bacon serving, BMW failing, Bearded friend...

Did the cheap roll of saran wrap three weeks ago about the same time as when you were out there the first time. Looked at the weather, saw that I had to drive through a bunch of crap, ran up to the store got a roll and wrapped that sucker. Worked great. The bike looked like yours going over Vail pass. Once I got to Green River I cut it off an threw it away. Kept the mag chloride off.

Not sure but probably not.. we do the "family thing" every 2 years generally.
...besides... we have a heater now so we don't have to go south ![]() The van now has almost 36,000 miles on it

Hey Bill,
Cool van .. even comes with the first letter of your first name on the side. ![]() I think I would probably prefer Geek's conversion, but realistically could only afford yours. Chris |

It's a denutted, gutted and slutted Minnie Winnie, 1974 Dodge chassis.
I believe the engine is a 360 but it might be a 318. Purchased for the price of the tires...$700(tires are new, all 7). Going out today to bolt up re-gasketed exhaust headers. Inside is stripped out except for the table/bed combo. Got a couple of bids on foaming the inside. Anyone with experience doing that? bill

Haven't been doing much to the van except driving it.
Added DEF again at 37,000 miles. Had a tail light bulb go out. Typical German over-engineering - there is a trick to getting the things off the van, but if you know the trick it is well designed and easy to do (I found the trick on youtube so I didn't break all the clips ![]() ![]() ![]() Tip for future Sprinter owners: When you go to places like Advance Auto Parts or Autozone and you ask for something like a tail light bulb for a 2011 Mercedes Sprinter and their computer says they don't carry the part you need.. ask them to look for the same part for a 2007 Dodge Sprinter. What do you know! Lots in stock! ![]() i.e. their databases are not up to date and do not know that ALL sprinters since 2007 have the same bulbs, etc.
