Gentlemen (I use that term generously) just wanted to say thanks for the restaurant recommendations in Eureka Spgs. We ate at Ermilios had a great meal. (90 min wait, whew..)
500 porches were in town, along with a few wedding parties.
The wife was impressed..
Thanks! Hopefully I'll get to ride with you guys one of these days.

I was dead set on buying a S10 summer before last as soon as they got one at Bill's. Even had dibs on the first one they were going to get. But I stumbled upon this 2005 GS with 13,000 miles on it for $7,000 less than a new S10 was going to run me. Figured I'd take a chance.

I love this bike and for that amount I have a lot of room to fix a few snafu's. Overall I do not regret it one bit. I figure I can get a lot of miles from this bike and come out money ahead in the long run. I really like the way it rides. Plus it give time to watch the S10 and let Yamaha tweak the newness. And later maybe I can stumble on a good used one for less $$$

$9999 w/o abs, 10,999 with. Kinda high for a nekkid bike IMHO.

I like the Gold Wing F6B though. Kinda rugged lookin' for a geezer bike.

I was droolin over that 1100 all day yesterday. But yeah, that's a little pricey for that.

GoldWing is cool too but hells bells they are way overpriced. Maybe this guy has the right idea.

A belated but heartfelt thanks to my vet buddies out there!

I am at a bug conference in Knoxville and they served us insect larvae at a banquet. I at BBQ later.

Local question. I have a buddy who is looking for a auto shop to do his work on his 07 Toyota 4runner. He thinks the drive shaft is out of balance or ujoints. He also need timing belt change soon.
He also has a Jeep needing work. I might recommend Doc (hee hee).
He's really just looking for a commercial shop.
Suggestion?

for drive line issues, there is a guy who is a specialist in springdale across from the cold storage on west sunset ave..he is behind a messican restaurant I think..dunno for the other issues tho..
