I'm selling a pristine copper hugger if anyone is interested. I have full fairings so no need for it.

The Suzuki Gel Seat made the bike go from super uncomfortable to no ass hurting after a 200+ mile rides.

If anyone has a gel seat for the 03 Naked 1k, PM me! I haven't seen any on eBay.

The advantage of owning the naked 1000 is that they're somewhat rare, so people think they're neat. The disadvantage is that when the parts differ from the S model (such as the seat), they're a real bitch to find.

Wow been a while since I started this thread...Several weeks ago I advertized mine than quickly puled the add. Instead I took it to the tuner and retuned it on the dyno with the PCIII.
Got it to 120.2hp and 75.6 ft lbs of torque but best and most productive gains ware fron 3,250rpm right through to 10,000 ranging fro 3 to 5 ft lbs of torque. it was teka tuned before and it started at 113hp and 70ftlbs. Got a full M4, MBC and air box mods.

Took the fearing off and was riding it around naked..lov it evan more now...Just need to come up with a headlight solution to my likings. Got a whole winter

I saw an S model conversion to naked where the guy used the 8" headlight from an 80's GS1100, looked pretty good.

On my naked, I had converted to the double headlights from a SpeedTriple.

03 Naked uses the same seat and everything else as the rest of the SV series. The only bike that had a different tank, seat, tail, subframe, was the 2003 SV1000S.

Oh ok. I knew the 1000S and the 1000N had different seats/subframes. So the N's seat matches any SV650 seat? If so, that's very handy to know.

Are you using some sort of tank risers to lift the tank up and get more air to the airbox? I saw on SVRacingParts.com that they sell some billet ones for like $25. Seems like a quick and easy way to get more power out of the SV engine.

I've seen a few SV's and FZ's with this headlight: http://www.ebay.com/itm/Fairing-Head...a2fc1e&vxp=mtr

Look very italian

Yes, you can use the tank, fairings and seats from any 2004+ SV, 650 or 1000. The only ones that are "unique" are the 2003 "S" models, that goes for both 1000 and 650.

I keep thinking I'm going to sell and try something new, too. But then I realize that I can't get anything near the performance of this bike for anything close to the amount I could get for it, and so I keep on enjoying it.
