Don't see how it's particularily any worse, or better, than the current crop of adventure themed bikes.....

I was thinking the same thing. Just another run of the mill adventure bike. They are getting hard to distinguish from one another any more.

I'd say part of the strange looks is Suzuki use of red on this show bike.
It does nothing for it. All black or with white fenders would look much better.

The only way to fix the "looks" of this concept bike is to trow it under a 50 tonne press, give the Suzuki designers a clean sheet of paper so they can start over again and make it look similar to the "old" DL1000.

This "new" Strom has nothing (beside the engine block) to do with the "old" Strom.
It would make more sense if it was called DR BIG II or something like that. They took the most recognised part of the Strom,the front fairing, and instead put on an ugly Roadrunner like beak. Why?

The best description of the new Strom came from my wife.
The first thing she said when I showed her a picture of it was:"O my God,what is that?!...it looks like a Chinese GS..."
