Places to teach kids to ride in NOVA

My boys are getting to the age where they are interested in Dad's motorcicle. I did not grow up around here or even around bikes, so I am looking for any input on places to ride, offroad obviously, for beginner kids?

I am probably going to get a used 80 and see if they take real interest.

All advice and opinions are welcome.

Oops, sorry, forgot to mention we live in Leesburg and I have a truck to haul bikes in.

My girls have been riding for about 3 years now. They started with a little 50cc quad then moved to two wheels.

both started with riding around the front yard with cones and plastics totes....

Then to the back yard riding a small loop through the trees...

Then the local ATV park (Wicomico Motorsports Park in MD). They have a couple MX tracks, trails and a beginner track...the girls would ride it for hours...

Lately we were able to get a membership for a private riding area near Dahlgren VA call Eagle Bay. It's $250 for an annual membership but it's strickly bikes and single track. No Quads.
They have three loops a kids loop which is in an open field, an intermediate loop (about two miles through the woods) and an expert loop (about 11 miles through the woods and much more technical)

(not one of my girls, but what a good bit of the trail is like)

There are a couple ATV parks around here, but expensive. The membership to Eagle Bay was well worth it. It's close enough that we can load up, go ride and be home for a late lunch...With the cost of the ATV parks, we had to spend the whole day there to be worth the cost....
all in all, if you can find a local club....take it

Riding with my girls is one of the funnest things we do

Family Off Roaders of Prince William County

www.FORPWC.org is a family oriented off road club. They have property in Nokesville that is family friendly. As well as more advanced trails in Catlett and Dahlgren. There is a membership fee, but it covers all three riding areas. Or like 5-punks said, make a trip out to his place and blast around his yard one afternoon.
The cove is pretty rocky and wouldn't be good for first time kids.

And this weekend, the club is hosting a open ride day at the 301 (Dahlgren) property on Sunday. It's a more advanced single track trail, no quads, about 10 miles long.
