I worry more about what taco stand to go to then if I'm going to get robbed. There are a lot of them here and the US government didn't tell me which ones are good.

Seems pretty quite in ensenada. I went to registration yesterday and was the only person there. Its early but still seems like the crowds are small this year.

Most go to "Paris", old school was Anthony's (the place with the Gorilla head on the roof). If you go to Anthony's be sure to do a "package check" before going up stairs with the "Girl"!!!! Jajajajajaja!

Working JCR/Honda pit #3 outside San Felipe.
Should be a great race what with Kaw, KTM and Honda battling it out.

In general the people of Baja are very friendly and generous. I feel safer in Baja than I do in most US cities.

Nobody with any common sense carries guns in Mexico (as they are quite frowned upon by the government)

Don't leave stuff out, and generally it won't get ripped off.

Bottom line, BAJA IS MAGIC. Don't let the lame ass media keep you from coming and exploring.

Couldn't agree with you more SP's Dad. Been going to Baja for the Mil for ten years now, wouldn't miss it.

Is there any run sheet on how the bikerace generally progresses?

Ie

Start - 6am USA west coast time (Thursday ?) is Mexico on same time zone?

Finish lapaz 24 hours later?

Is race desert still be live viewing?
