I may have some one bringing a horse in for training this weekend, so things are up in the air for me. This would be the downside of running your own business.

Playtime
Hope everyone had a good ride today. I was late getting away myself, so headed up above Criglersville and across the saddle. Rode past Rapidan Cabins and to the yellow pole. Lot's of trees down up there. I'd still like to ride the trails at Sherando, but know I should not go alone. If anyone would like to do some riding on the trails around Blakey, I have a cool little route that would cover several hours and a good part of the fire roads on the Criglersville side of the mountain.

VB - I'll trade you a guided tour of the Sherando/ Montebello loop for your one of the "fire roads on the Criglersville side of the mountain".

Deal! Your 640 would do well up there. I rode part of the loop and from Madison up there and back to Madison was about 40 miles.

Got out mid-afternoon and hit some gravel between Scottsville and Lovingston.

I did the Sherando/Montebello loop on Sat. By myself. Didn't drop it, but came close once or twice. Saw a couple of mtn. bikers on the jeep trail. Those guys must be crazy tough. No one else on the JT, a fair number of hunter's trucks along Coal Rd. Saw a dude w/ a 2 stroke Rokon near Montebello. +_ 4 hours, about 120 miles round trip from C'ville.
VB, when do you want to go? Oh yeah, and a fair bit of snow in spots.

Not sure about the next couple of weekends. (At least heading to Sherando) Have horses coming in for training. (The client didn't make it in this past weekend) Occassionally available during the week.
A loop around Madison fire roads wouldn't take more than a couple of hours. I don't fly, but I don't putt along either.
