As you said though, money talks. And nothing would surprise me.
He seems pretty well grounded. Coach Pete has gotten what he wants including stadium expansion, an indoor training facility, decent salary w/incentives and now a new football complex in the north end which screwed up our former tailgating spot with quick Greenbelt/Boise River access.

Former Boise coaches have not faired well - the grass is not always greener. Boise is a pretty decent head coaching gig - there is enough going on that the town doesn't revolve around the program and we have a lot of outdoor recreation.

W/a style win in Hawaii Boise State is clawing their way back to the top 25 but the locals are crying for a new QB, questioning the OC, and lamenting that we blew a possible a BCS bowl. Still spoiled in Ideehoe.

Seriously though, who wants those jobs?

Since Muschamp's sideline behavior is such a popular topic around here. Here's an interview with his wife

Quote:
"We say at our house when Will is jumping up and down and acting crazy on the sidelines, the boys and I say that he is having an EO -- an emotional outburst,'' Carol said. "The boys will come home and say, 'Daddy, you had some major EOs on the sideline.' "

I think EO might have just become an everyday phrase for me.

Here's an out of context quote just for Jurgen.

Wes Rucker@wesrucker247 Bray: "I'm paid to win games." Reporter: "You're paid?" Bray: "I mean ... my education. That's what the SEC likes to call 'getting paid.'"

Well, it is getting paid to play. The other kids are paying for their educations. At least some of them.

Some speculating...

Might as well get this started; assuming the top 3 BCS teams win out, which team deserves to play KSt for the championship, Oregon or Notre Dame?

I'm uncomfortable with the word "deserves", but I would vote for Nike. Pac 12 Champ vs Big 12 (-2) Champ is good match this year.

For the media spectacle....Notre Dame. What a story it would be. There is still some ball to be played and anything can and will happen. Even though there are some wagon hoppers, there were very, very, very few that did not expect Alabama to win out. And certainly not to lose to A&M. Nobody in the BCS running can get complacent or deserve anything yet. That is what makes college football so interesting. Even if I can't fully comprehend the computer formula fabrication.

Oregon, obviously. ND is squeaking by, and robbed Stanford, so they don't get the nod from me.

would all be good choices, but I'd also be looking at NFL coordinators with college experience. The trend seems to be more and more valuing NFL experience.

That is awesome Scott. Though most people in the South know not to schedule a wedding during football season.
