An awesome day at the Delaware vintage trials. Weather was perfect. Had a great time riding and learning from Tomc407, Fire44, Elmo_4_vt and numerous others. The pics are great. We have to do that again sometime.

Sorry I wasn't able to catch up with you guys to chat. Thanks for coming out - it sounds like you all had a good time. I'm hoping that we're able to provide the same spectating access again next year. I'm just upset that I didn't get a chance to ride the loop that was laid out. It went places on the property that I haven't seen...

Hope to see you all back again next year.

I had a great time. That is a beautiful place and I hope to get to go up there and ride again.

The trial riders were unbelievable. What some of them were doing was great.

Thanks for keeping us in the loop on this.

oops

Gary's top box falling off was the only thing that slowed him down today.

I got the bike tore apart, one of the bolts striped out and the other one broke off in the frame rail. I guess I will be doing some mods this week.

I'm enjoying your videos Tom.

From the audio portion it sounds like you were having a pretty good time.

One of our own crashed hard this morning. VACommuter went down after blowing a tire at 70mph on his non-hacked KLR on I95. He suffered a open fracture broken big toe. Other than that he tells me he is fine. He was riding ATGATT as always thankfully. Go check your tires fellas, PLEASE. Thanks

Glad to hear it wasn't any worse (but an open fracture is bad enough).

I can only assume it was a tubed tire since it was on the KLR. Let me tell ya something you probably already know, when a tubed tire decides to give out it happens real fast without a lot of warning (1st hand experience).

Keep 'em in good repair and change out the tube with the tire.....

+1

I subscribe to the idea that tubes are cheap insurance, I put a new one on with a new tire. Plus make sure that tube type tires on spoked rims have rim strips, a little strip of rubber to protect the tube from the spoke heads inside.

Insurance = cheap

Life = not replaceable

Glad to hear he is ok!!!!
