I think it's part of Limerick Forest.

No that area is private land and has been gated as of 3 weeks ago. It's been removed from the CIS route. We didn't ride it Monday (obviously). Bummer as it was good fun. CIS gpx file will be posted sometime soon

Was talking to some atv boys in the scotch-line sand pit once, and they said it's closed during the hunting season only. So hopefully it will be opened again in the spring.

This reminds me - Hey Dan, have you ordered a clutch lever for my DR650 to replace the one you used on the Dakar?

I was in there yesterday for some clutch bolts but didn't know what year your bike was. Seems there was some confusion on it fit the bike you had. Let me know exact model and year etc. And thanks for saving my ride!!

Nice to know the lever could be made to fit on the BMW too, in a pinch.

Finally had time to do a little compilation of videos from the CIS day back in November. This is the start and goes right through Marlborough Forest, and into the Limerick Forest. Certainly not the tough part of the day. (Will get to that asap).

Sorry for the delay with Part 2; only had 9 gigs left on my hard drive so I had to do some house cleaning before importing the raw footage. Hope to have 2 done tomorrow night...

Ok, Part 2 is out:
And this is a test I made on the slow motion mode which I've just discovered in iMovie.

Hibernation!
Time to revive this thread?
Still lots of snow on the trails, but warm temps and rain next week will definitely help with the melt. Some footage from the last CIS ride in November.
