It doesn't take long to add up. I think I am knocking on $2500 right now. And I still have a $300 sump guard to get.

Okay, who has factory heated grips? They warned me that left grip will feel warmer "cause right grip has throttle tube in it"... so the element is under the tube and not over it? Is that right?

I've got it and never noticed it until you just mentioned it. Yes elements are inside the tube.

Tiger 800 XC headlight guards
One farkle on my list is a new head light guard. The Holan headlight guard.
gives good protection and looks tough on the bike. Good price as well goes for 78 bucks. ![]() ![]() Touratech has a better design and looks nicer but its 130 bucks. ![]() Another design by Hepco & Becker a little better design than the Holan guard but not as good as Touratech with a price point right in the middle at 101 bucks. ![]() ![]()

I have the TT guard.
Simple reason is that it is quick release. When I need to clean the headlight lenses, it takes 5 seconds to remove the guard. I don't want to have to mess with full screws to remove and replace the guard.

So I got all my factory accessories installed by the dealer, but I forgot to get them to run wires for my GPS while they had tank off... any advice on running wires for Zumo cradle?

Pull the plastic off the left side and run the wires along the frame. I think I only used two zip ties.

Ok got the measurements for the Triumph option. They are roughly 3 1/2 by 2 1/4 inches.

The Motech pegs are cast. The pivot pegz are polished stainless steel - very snazzy!

The "soundtrack" isn't significantly different, the weight savings isn't that much, and I can't say I notice the extra 3 to 5 extra bhp. A lot of $$$ for so little. Everything else listed above has been great additions, in terms of fit, function and appearance. |

Basically the only thing you get for real with the Arrow can is lower mpg. The rest is not even worth looking at.

Tank bags
What tank bags you put on your Tigers? Besides the Triumph I've seen some pics with Wolfman tank bags on but don't know what models

Besides the Wolfman luggage, the Giant Loop bags look pretty nice:the Diablo and larger Fandango. I like the way they can be zipped on and off of their harnesses. I have to wonder though if the zipping on and off thing gets old quickly. |
