The bronze 110th Anniversary Road King looks classy to me.

My favorite HD right now is the V-Rod, because I'm not really into cruisers. I heard one the other day with Supertrapp exhaust that sounded amazing. To me, that is as far into the sportbike market as HD needs to go to get my attention. I'm 40, ride a supermoto, and could easily see myself on this machine:

If Buell were involved in it, he could probably use his connections and experience to help them develop a product line with more than cult appeal, and at less than an occult price. ;)

Hmmm -- interesting statements.

I guess you have a different definition for "cult appeal" than I do. EBRs initial bikes for sale had a base price of 40K, although the new production line has a target retail of around 25K.

I'd love Erik to build a SPORT touring bike around one of those Rotax V-Twins.

I think the motus has little more than cult appeal, partially due to price. Ebr could help with that, I think.

Long but worth reading if this is something you care about

It looks like what I was hoping to see in the 2014 model year has been pushed back to 2015.

I am thinking that the water cooled heads and the reverse trike (that leans) have been bumped back a year.

Be careful what you wish for. I have owned water cooled bikes and air cooled and by far, the hottest ones were all water cooled ! Just because a bike is water cooled doesn't mean that it can't throw a lot of heat on your legs.

I currently ride a 2012 Electra Glide and some people who own this same bike, say it runs very hot. But, for whatever reason, mine doesn't throw all that much heat. Nowhere near what my old Honda ST1300 or my Kawasaki C-14 threw and they were both water cooled.

The coolest running bike (As far as heat on the operator) I have ever owned was my BMW RT1200 and that was air
cooled !

Roger that. I live in Dallas, and in this heat and traffic, I've owned a harley sportster, a Kawasaki c-10, and now a shadow 1100. That c-10 was by far the hottest fucking bike I've ever had the pleasure to ride. Melt your damn feet off.
