Yep know that route, I live on airport drive, I go that way to camplinger mills and cut back through the 900 road that is a fun ride.

I'm working on a new loop from el dorado to springfield on the east side of 13 than coming back on the west side. Goal is to do as many gravel roads as I can! :$

Not that anybody cares but I will be sending out some possible dates, for those you might care! Lol!

Hey Rusty, hope you don't mind. I added you and a few others on here to my Twitter acct. I've been talking to a couple of other guys about a pre-Thanksgiving day ride. I've gotta work the entire weekend after T day, but could get off the 19th - 22nd. Keep me updated on that Spfld to Eldo route. I might just come up for some of that world famous BBQ!

Ok, I will be going to pick my daughter up at my Dad's Saturday and I have about 3 to 4 hours of ride time in the Joplin area Saturday.

Anybody want to show me around the area? :)

I'll be occupied Saturday morning until after lunch.

The gravel roads are sparse in Jasper County - you'll have to go South of Joplin for anything gravelish.

Hey you southern guys, where are some nice trails or riding place in joplin to ride or south a few miles south would work? I plan to trailer my bike to north of Joplin where my dad lives.

so far none of the NWA guys spoke up..we don't go that far north..we usually hang south in McDonald Co..as one of my guys said, "just pick a road and go splore'n"

do you have Base Camp or Mapsource? If so, give that a look see and get some ideas..good luck and sorry we couldn't help ya any

Ok, I put out a feeler to ride the day after Thanksgiving in the KC area and I'm going to put one out in the SW area.

I can trailer my bike north with my wife an she can shop, I ride or go south and ride.

So is anybody going to do a loop in SW?

I'm looking at Friday.

surely someone can, but with the holidays, I suspect some if not most will have kin folk in and can't get away, but keep asking, you never know..sounds good to me, but I am confined to the house for a while..being a caregiver to my elderly aunt and such

Oh I could put a nice route around those areas. If we have some interest, I'll make that my Sunday late afternoon map work!
