In Fact, it's time to get serious about this.
In Hood River area. I have a Brown Motorports 6x12 enclosed trailer, 2002 model....... ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() I do have a "Contico" (or similar) big resin-plastic lockable bin to go on the front tongue, not yet installed; I'll throw it in the deal if you want it. Tongue is covered in diamond plate, and looks good. All the wooden panelling inside is in great shape. All the lights work, and yes, that IS a small hole ripped in the back door above the lock assembly ...It was there when I got it. Other Blemishes are limited to a slightly bent wheel fender on one side, somebody lightly backed into something before I bought it. They straightened it without making it perfect, but it's not very noticable. There is some surface oxidation on the aluminum fenders that would likely rub out with polishing compound. None of these things should be a deal breaker on a used trailer. Four good tires have LOTS of tread left. It trails like a dream with the dual axle setup. My smaller Dakota feels it, but has no troubles. My heavier 1/2 ton Chevy Van doesn't even really feel it. (and I could sell the Chevy's Hitch receiver also....) Wheels look decent, but have some paint-peel. There's even a light inside, that works with the tow vehicle's 12v, or it's own small battery. The full-size back door has spring loaded cables that make it very easy for anyone to lift it up and down, like a preloaded garage door. It is designed to be a perfect ramp. I paid $3k, about 4 years ago. So, I'll assume it's worth $2600 today. Condition is the same as when I bought it, as I've probly only used it about 6-7 times since. I have the title, and the tags are current in Oregon. It was built new in 2002, and I *think* I am the second owner, but not sure. The PO used it for 2 Harleys, but he ought more Harleys and needed a bigger trailer. Floor has some oil/gas stains...from the Harleys, of course.... I just don't use it anymore, and could use the $ It fits my 990 with hard panniers and wife's DR200 with soft panniers easily, with lots of gear space leftover. It would likely fit three dirt bikes. As far as weight, a similar new Brown Motorsports double axle trailer 6x12x6 is 1529 pounds, according to their website. They do not price new trailers on their website, it appears they are all custom made to order.

Sure it was, I'd say that too!
j/k ![]() If anybody's interested, I've seen this trailer, and Mrs1911fan and I debated buying it, but went smaller/cheaper. It's a nice trailer! 1911fan
