Went out for a local spin today as it's been snowy in the mtns the past couple of weeks on my days off. It was chilly like winter here today too but couldn't let that stop me.

There's even a bit of color left down here.....

Thanks guys!

I've been wanting to haul the old beat up DR up to the mountains and ride some seasonal stuff but the weather hasn't really been cooperating with my days off. Actually today turned out to be a really nice day in spite of a forecast for rain, we could use some but only got a trace.

Skies cleared out around noon so I dug the old DR out of the shed and rode it to lunch, just make sure it still ran and all.

Somebody planted these beautiful maples along the edge of their pasture.

'Bout time you got out and rode/posted some pics.

Of course all I've done lately is ride mine to the grocery store & back a few times. Somehow, that just doesn't seem pic-worthy.

Nice maples!

Does that aux windshield on the DR do a pretty good job of keeping the wind blast off your chest at highway speeds?

Thanks...I wish there were more like that around the area. Yes, that shield does a great job!

I don't do many hiway miles on that bike anymore but I have in the past...like a couple of rides to Daytona for Bike Week etc.
