Oofda! That was great!....and I'm whooped! 149 miles on the DR650 and 260 in the Toyota pickup.
 I forgot to put new batteries in the camera but managed to get a few shots anyway, including some of advtenn's bike lying on the ground.  But who doesn't have some of those? You might have to wait for 'em though as I may fall asleep before they get uploaded....

advtenn already going bananas.
 Across the big city of Damascus and directly onto IMT  Lots of loose rocks and sticks covered by wet leaves...really hindered my one handed riding and picture taking. The leaves really camouflage everything....including the edge of the trail!  If you stare at that one for a few seconds the slope of the hill and the narrowness of the trail may become apparent.

I spied a toolbag laying on the trail and stopped to walk back and pick it up...Todd had indeed dropped it.
 Form and/or Function....some prefer one or the other, what if you don't have much of either? He was waiting for me in a place where the trail had widened out a bit and realized that he had lost a saw as well and went back to scan for it...unfortuantely with no luck.
