Blew the fuse on my heated grips last night. Home this isn't a repetitive problem. Gonna get some more spare fuses, just in case.

I assume they're the factory heated grips? Did you have any other electrical accessories going at the time? I just got done installing mine about 10 minutes ago. Haven't had a chance to try them though.

Heres another option a Carbon fiber hand guard for 96 bucks. Seller has an ebay store. They are also selling carbon fiber versions of all the Tiger 800 plastic parts.

I use the Bags Connection Micro but I only keep my phone, wallet, and a few nik naks. I also use the lock ring on the gas cap. Works perfect for me.

Yeah, I am either going to modify the stock pegs or get the optional Triumph pegs that are larger.

Btw: the Touratech ones are under 130 USD if you can buy them from Germany (before Tax), the German price including 19% sales tax is 119,90 EUR (153 USD).
So, if you like them and know somebody who travels to Germany or can ship them cheaply or you find someone selling them to outside EU without the tax, they are a worthwhile option. |
