Testing out new toy ~ Videos

Just testing out my new toy, a Macbook Pro with a Panasonic Lumix DMC-TS2 tough camera. I'm trying to upload some riding videos. All these clips were taken on a few day's riding within 500 km of Vancouver, British Columbia. The camera is on a RAM mount on the handlebar, but will try it on the helmet in the spring.

Hopefully the quality will improve as I get used to the equipment, but they still show some of my favourite rides. All critical feedback welcomed, thanks.

Thanks for watching, please leave critical comments & suggestions.

Looks good and it will only get better once it's helmet mounted, the road induced jitter will be gone.
Did you do some zoom adjusting while recording or did the camera do that on it's own?

Any apparent change in zoom was likely due to speed change. Some was done at 20~30 kmh, other clips as high as 100 kmh. The camera was always set to minimum (wide angle) length to minimize camera shake. Scenery changes, such as wide open space & close-in shrubs affect perceptions as well.

With iMovie, it's possible to zoom in on a scene, but it is unchangeable during the whole clip (as far as I have found).
