Hi

I have my own little shop space where I work on my bikes, and sometimes I help people out with their bikes.

I would like to extend the following offer to the ADV community:

You are welcome to bring your bike over to my shop, and I will help you work on it. No charge or expectation of payment. What I get is the satisfaction of helping you have the confidence to tackle fixing your bike yourself.

I help you through the job, and you can use my tools, space, and shop chemicals.

I am located in the Hampton Roads area of Virginia. Send me a PM or post up to get started.

I'll add to the thread as the projects come in.

I don't have a proper tire changer. That said, I can do tires with tire levers and patience. I still need to pick up some better tools for tires.

I have started taking tires to Crazy Ted. He is in VB, and will change them for $15 if you have the wheel off. $25 if he takes the wheel off. It's a hell of a good deal.

I just checked your profile, and I see you have a GS1200. Your tires would be a challenge for my limited tire toolset. If you want to try though, bring some tire lube(I don't have any) and we'll give it a go.

The shop is the garage at my house. Sadly no garage door anymore, but you can get a bike through the back door. Coming by to say hello is fine.
